The subtle romance worked wonders to lighten the moment and it was definitely cute and not overly or dramatically done. The action was fantastic – however much there was – and I hope we get more of such scenes in the later books. Character-development : The characters from the first book, mainly Cinder, Kai and Queen Levana reappear in this book and we get to know a lot more about them in this story. I love the direction the story is going and the new elements added in the book are extremely exciting.Ģ. A lot of dots are connected, and quite a few questions are answered. Plot-developmet : Whereas the plot in Cinder was pretty basic and just the beginning of the series, it develops a lot more in Scarlet, and grows to a larger extent. Now, all of them must stay one step ahead of the vicious Lunar Queen Levana, who will do anything for the handsome Prince Kai to become her husband, her king, her prisoner. As Scarlet and Wolf unravel one mystery, they encounter another when they meet Cinder.
