This was a lovely agic, and touching.and I was almost always fully was some time in the beginning that I thought was drawn out a bit to long.and the ending left me needing more closure.like WHAT THE HECK HAPPENED TO RUNE? Other than that this was soooo sweet.and I loved Poppy and Rune and I shed tears of both sadness and joy.and I am glad they had a forever type of was just an awful HEA ending.I mean I was like WOW.but I did enjoy this listen.But a thousand kisses can last a lifetime.Ī bond that is forged in an instant and cherished for a decade.Ī bond that neither time nor distance can break. Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you? Oh I just dont know this is a sad sad beautiful story! What other book might you compare A Thousand Boy Kisses to and why? Would you consider the audio edition of A Thousand Boy Kisses to be better than the print version? The narration was a little hard for me because of the male accent but otherwise it was good. Her relationship with her Grandma was sweet and I wish it had lasted longer in the book because I enjoyed the time they were talking. I really liked that the love story pretty much started started at age 8, I loved that it didn't matter to either of them what others thought unlike most YA books and I loved that the parents are on their side. I was expecting a very sad depressing ending but honesty it was depressing for more than 2/3 of the book and I need a lot more happy to feel the love and connection so that the sad will hit me the way this book hit others. No teenagers would react to things the way these 2 did ( well maybe him during his angry time). I had a very hard time connecting with these characters and at first I thought it was because they were so young but I quickly realized that was actually the opposite, I had a hard time with them being 15-17 in most of the book but they acted and talked like the were old.

I think it was too much like another famous book with the same story line because I compared them throughout the book even though I was trying not too.

I'm not saying it was bad or anything like that so please don't take that the wrong way. Maybe I was expecting amazing because I was told by many that this was the book that affected them the most. Sadly I think I am in the minority on this book.
